KWK Architects is proud to announce the addition of Haden Smith, AIA to the KWK team. A licensed architect in the state of Missouri for over 21 years, and a degreed structural engineer, Haden joins KWK as a Senior Architect / BIM Manager. He brings a creative and technical, problem-solving approach to design and project execution with experience on a wide range of residential, institutional, and commercial project types and sizes. He is also an experienced educator in architectural, interiors, and engineering curricula with teaching experience at several institutions.
Haden has a specialized focus on Building Information Modeling and has trained hundreds of students and professionals in the practical and effective use of Revit and other BIM and CAD related applications. He has also helped many firms and practitioners develop highly functional libraries to implement the software and associated content needed for a variety of projects. Over a 30-year-plus career Haden has worked for several firms including HOK, Christner, and most recently his own architecture & consulting practice. He attended Princeton University and Washington University in St. Louis where he earned a B.S. in Civil Engineering and a Master’s in Architecture.
